ConcordBank has partnered with the Female Leadership Program for startups for women entrepreneurs and awarded a travel grant for a trip to the United States, where international specialists will work with the participants for a week.
At the first stage, which will take place in Kiev from 12th to 15th October, women entrepreneurs will attend lectures and master classes from leading Ukrainian and international experts in the fields of management, marketing, finance, sales, communications and investment attraction. On the second - from 16th to 17th October to study the art of self-presentation, negotiations with investors and working out a business development strategy. Then they will take part in the competition for a travel grant from CRDF Global and ConcordBank. As a result, 10 winners will continue their education in the United States. The finalists will spend a week in the heart of Silicon Valley, a unique educational and residential complex in Menlo Park. Olesya Malevanaya, Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Hub, warmly welcomes this initiative: “According to DOU, the share of women in Ukrainian IT is actively growing and now amounts to 25%. For comparison - 5 years ago this figure was just over 14%. We are moving in the right direction, but we still need support. After all, it is important that as many women as possible learn about such programs".
