ConcordBank with volunteers sent 50 tons of humanitarian aid to Kherson region

CONCORD Bank, as well as all the units of the Concord Fintech Solutions fintech ecosystem of which it is a part, joined to help the victims of the terrorist attack on the Kakhovka HPP. As a result, two trucks with humanitarian aid for the popuation and equipment for the man-made disaster relief were sent to Kherson region.

“All our attention is now focused on the horrific images from the south of Ukraine. CONCORD Bank, as a socially responsible business, could not stay away from the events in Kherson and the consequences of the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant by the occupiers. Therefore, we did not hesitate to fund the volunteers' requests”, — says Olena Sosiedka, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ConcordBank, co-founder of the first Ukrainian fintech ecosystem Concord Fintech Solutions and the DobroDii Charity Exchange.

Thanks to the joint efforts of the bank, the DobroDii Charity Exchange and the Modern Ukraine Charitable Foundation, 2 trucks with almost 50 tons of humanitarian aid were sent to Kherson region. One of these trucks is one of the trucks that have been recently delivered to the AFU as part of a delivery of 4 trucks and 2 trailers financed by ConcordBank (read more).

On June 15, the humanitarian aid from the bank and volunteers was delivered to the affected area. Among other things, the cargo includes: 50 gasoline motor pumps, 7 generators, a charging power plant, 20 tons of bottled drinking water, hygiene products, medicines, food, warm blankets, mattresses, household appliances and other equipment needed to combat the effects of the flooding and help evacuees.

The total budget of the humanitarian mission amounted to more than UAH 1,000,000, most of which was funded by ConcordBank and the DobroDii Charity Exchange.

In addition to the transfer of the planned aid, the DobroDii Charity Exchange, together with its partners, is already processing urgent requests from local authorities and organizations that are evacuating and helping the victims.
