On November 2, a closed party for ITEM Global Dnipro-2019 participants was held in Dnipro in the Art-Svit art gallery, organized by one of the financial partners of the Concord bank conference. Guests of the event could in an informal setting with good music, delicious drinks and snacks chat on common topics and make new, useful contacts. The main event of the evening was a teleconference with representatives of Silicon Valley - Nikita Safronenko and Sergei Sema.
More than 30 representatives of various areas of the IT industry: novice businessmen, young start-ups, managers and developers came together to share their own ideas with each other in an informal setting, gain valuable knowledge and, possibly, find future partners.
Anyone who bought a ticket for ITEM Global Dnipro-2019 and filled out a short form via the promotional link could attend the Pre-party Concord bank + ITEM. Initially, up to 20 guests were expected, but in the end, twice as much came.
Within the framework of this event, the Chairman of the Board of Concord bank took the time to personally communicate with each guest and tell how financial transactions and the IT industry have been closely connected recently, how, in the framework of business cooperation with major banking institutions, the latest developments from domestic entrepreneurs have received decent worldwide attention. Also within the framework of the round table, questions were raised regarding investing and financing promising ideas in the FinTech field.
Among the guests of the party were also several foreign speakers of the ITEM Global Dnipro-2019 conference, Thomas Yoham, Hayk Arutyunyan and Eduardo Soares. Anyone could talk to them in a non-formal setting.
The highlight of the evening was a teleconference with representatives of Silicon Valley - co-founder and chief operating officer of Unicorn Lab, UAHUB Nikita Safronenko (San Francisco, USA) and Google software engineer Sergey Sema (Zurich, Switzerland)
Throughout the month, guests had the opportunity to send questions to the party organizers so that the moderator could ask the speakers at the Pre-party Concord bank + ITEM. The range of topics discussed was as wide as possible - from selling a product abroad, developing programming languages and establishing cooperation with American colleagues, arranging life in the USA and gender equality in the IT industry. Nikita Safronenko and Sergey Sema gladly answered all of them, as well as related questions “from the audience” that arose during the discussion of the topics.
It is no coincidence that the out-of-house theme of the party was Silicon Valley. Taking the opportunity at the event, Concord bank announced the launch of a new campaign. In autumn 2020, the bank's representative office will assemble a group that will have the opportunity to visit the Mecca of global IT innovations. Concord bank covers all expenses. In order to get a chance to go to Silicon Valley as part of the Concord bank Team, from November 1 to May 15 it is enough to withdraw cash from a foreign bank card at one of the Concord bank cash desks, scan the QR code from a sticker on the cash register or banner in the branch, fill out a short questionnaire and wait until spring when Concord bank holds a ticket draw, which will be personally reported to each participant via viber-mailing. Or find a Concord bank stand at IT conferences, scan a QR code on a banner, wait for spring and the coveted message in viber.
It is not the first year that Concord bank has been a partner of an ITEM conference and actively supports the IT community.
